General English

This course aims to help students master English vocabulary (pronunciation, prefixes and suffixes, irregular verbs, etc.)
It also develops students’ basic reading skills and expands their mental vocabulary of words and grammatical structures. Students will be able to read and understand simple sentences and structures This course covers the components of sentences, their meanings, and the meanings of punctuation marks, as well as the different types of vocabulary, both functional and semantic. It also provides students with essential vocabulary in a number of general and specialized topics across social, scientific, and cultural fields. Furthermore, students learn how to use monolingual dictionaries.
